Mumbai Indians Reported UAE | Started Off With First Training Session in UAE

After the second placed team on the table, Chennai Super Kings reported UAE for early preparation for the second phase of IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians also reported UAE for the preparations. Mumbai Indians is the second team after CSK to report at UAE for the preparations of IPL 2021 second phase which is set to commence from 19th of september, 2021.

CSK to Report UAE Early For Preparations of IPL 2021

The second phase of the IPL 2021 would kick start with an interesting match between two of the best teams in IPL i.e., Chennai Super Kings (CSK) going head to head against Mumbai Indians (MI) on 19th of September, 2021.

Mumbai Indians are placed 4th in the points table of IPL 2021 after winning 4 matches out of the 7 matches they’ve played. Even though the team are placed 4th on the table, the players of the Mumbai Indians squad struggled for form, hence are planning to improve their performance with early preparations.

Mumbai Indians (MI) have more than a month’s time to prepare for the mega event i.e., Second Phase of IPL 2021 and are making the best out of it. The team has started its preparation with the first training session in UAE after completing the isolation and quarantine activities.

All the players of the team have not reported to UAE for preparations as some of the players are busy with their international duties. Some of the players who were not able to report at UAE for practice sessions include Captain Rohit Sharma, Vice-Captain Kieron Pollard, Star BowlerJasprit Bumrah and some other international players. These players are expected to report at UAE in the last week before the IPL starts.

These would be no issue with these players not reporting for the practice session at UAE as they are being involved in competitive cricket continuously and this would be a great practice for these players. So, the team would still be balanced with the practice of every players of the squad. In addition to this, a report in PTI recently suggested that they won’t have to quarantine upon landing in UAE.

The players of the MI (Mumbai Indians) squad has been in great form over the past few months which is really a good sign for the team. Players like Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, Keiron Pollard, Quinton De Kock, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, and other players have been performing thier best in the competitive cricket played which is really a positive sign for the team.

The New Zealand players Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham who are included in the MI’s squad would not be joining New Zealand’s squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh and are hence playing IPL for MI this time around. This states that almost all the players from Mumbai Indians would be available for IPL’s second phase.
